Resource Sharing: Access and Equity In Experiential Learning

In this meeting, we'll discuss how access and equity impact our work in experiential learning. We'll share resources, successes and challenges, and you'll gather inspiration and tools to help you create more responsive and accessible opportunities in your organization.

Brittany Rice, Program Manager at Urban Scholars will help kick off and frame our discussion. Then, in this special resource sharing meeting, you'll have the opportunity to share a resource that could be beneficial to fellow members and add to our collective knowledge. Resources can take a variety of forms (idea, explanation of a strategy, physical document, contact information) and you are welcome to bring more than one resource to share!

Examples include: recommended reading publications/book titles, an internship manual with inclusive language, a diversity and inclusion values statement, connections to experts/consultants/trainers in the field, how you created and distribute paid internship opportunities, how you updated your recruitment and onboarding process to be more accessible, upcoming training opportunities, inclusive marketing materials, a spreadsheet template for tracking diversity metrics...and more!

There's something for everyone in this meeting, whether you are new to the field or you have a wealth of knowledge to share. Join us!
